Jim Leprino began producing small quantities of mozzarella for local markets and restaurants in Denver’s Little Italy district more than 65 years ago, marking the beginning of Leprino Foods. Since then, we’ve developed a little. Today, Leprino is a major producer of whey protein and the world’s biggest producer of lactose and mozzarella. To assist us reach our objectives, the Greeley Team is looking for a Cheese Packaging-Team Member I.

We need you to:

• Examine and package the blocks of cheese.
• Be in charge of making sure the related machinery and/or procedures run safely.
• Observe and put into effect safe work practices, good manufacturing processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure the workspace is hygienic and clean.
• Effectively communicate with managers, supervisors, team leads, and team members as needed.
• Fulfill job duties while keeping the company’s basic principles of ethics, competitive pricing, quality, and service in mind.
• Collaborate efficiently with others
• Finish your work shift on time.

The starting salary for this position at Leprino Foods is presently $22.75 per hour. Additionally, workers who work evening shifts are subject to a night shift difference of an extra $1.25 per hour.

Minimum Requirements You Must Meet:

• At least eighteen years old
• Proficiency in the English language in speaking, reading, and writing; a foundational understanding of mathematics to do mathematical operations
• Having the ability to climb steps or ladders to reach upper job areas
• The capacity to comprehend and implement standard operating procedures
• The capacity to wear the necessary PPE and adhere to all relevant safety procedures
• Capacity to repeatedly lift moderate weights during the shift.
• Capacity to work hot, muggy, and chilly environments Capacity to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and 12.5-hour rotating shifts Capacity to stand and walk during the shift
• Requirements for lifting:
  37 lbs Lifting from the chest to the head.
  Climbing stairs, and climbing ladders.
