Financial Controller Job

Description of the Position

•Incorporate efficient financial control procedures, such as working capital management, cash management, and CAPEX, throughout the business division.

  • Work closely with the business head on pertinent operational issues; offer appropriate guidance and assistance in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Take part in initiatives for improvement, business assessments, and cost-effectiveness initiatives.
    Evaluate the profitability of different product lines, keep an eye on margins, and spearhead efforts to enhance financial results.
  • Effectively manage Product Lifecycle Management by managing financial aspects of product development, manufacturing, marketing, and end-of-life stages, including comprehending cost structures.
  • Recognize, assess, and reduce financial risks.
  • Create and execute systems, procedures, and a chart of accounts in accordance with business needs.
  • Assist in modernizing the organization, controls reporting team, and financial procedures.
    Create or provide workable solutions to financial problems or challenges.
  • To produce insights that can be put into practice, gather, examine, and evaluate financial and business performance data.

Skills

Qualifications:

Education Degree: Masters
Major: Finance
Qualified Finance Professional with CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA credentials

Experience:

Years of Experience: 15 – 20  Years

Field of Experience: Consumer Durables, Retail, and Distribution sectors

Skills:

  • Proficiency with complex financial systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as SAP and Oracle, to enhance decision-making, efficiency, and transparency.
  • Proficiency in managing warehouse, logistics, inventory, and supply chain management (SCM)
  • Demonstrated experience working as a finance head or in a comparable position.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of accounting principles and apply IFRS and IAS standards with clarity.
  • Excellent knowledge of cost-control techniques, especially in sectors like distribution, manufacturing, and procurement
  • Awareness of procurement and inventory management procedures in the consumer durable sector, including monitoring component costs, collaborating with suppliers, and comprehending lead times.
  • Aware of cost-plus pricing, competitive pricing, and promotions, among other pricing dynamics in the electronics industry.
  • Strong proficiency with data analytics tools, such as Power BI and Tableau, to obtain information and make well-informed financial decisions.
  • Proficiency in managing the financial facets of alliances with large manufacturers and negotiating prices with suppliers and vendors.
  • A high level of responsibility, integrity, and accountability.
    Self-motivated, capable of working autonomously with little direction and concentrating on important tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the capacity to promote teamwork while discreetly managing private and sensitive data.
  • Technically capable of leading a group of gifted finance experts with shown leadership abilities

  • Excellent presenting abilities, including the capacity to accurately communicate intricate financial information.
