The Part:

You will be the administrative lifeblood of the housekeeping office as our housekeeping office assistant. You will help coordinate administrative housekeeping tasks for the management team. You will contribute significantly to the examination of service inquiries by utilizing your excellent written and spoken communication abilities. You will be passionate about helping others and demonstrating concern in your day-to-day work.

Included in the duties are:

  • Assisting the Executive Housekeeper and the Housekeeping management team with administrative tasks
  • Examining service problems and reacting to visitor comments on social media and HySat/Medallia
  • Making it easier to track consumption levels and take inventory
  • Keeping track of lost and found things, keeping databases up to date, and communicating with guests
  • Active participation in creating and maintaining HotSOS guidelines, helping with reporting as needed
  • Helping to distribute office emails and schedule couriers for outbound mail and postal deliveries
  • Observe health and safety regulations by keeping the office space nice and orderly.

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience working in a large hotel or other hospitality setting
  • Strong computer skills,
  • outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities,
  • And prior experience with Medallia and OPERA are preferred.
  • A strong desire to provide excellent visitor service
  • In Australia, legitimate working rights
  • The capacity to work 38 hours a week on a rotating schedule
