Description of the Position:
Taking part in the creation of IT operations-related programs and action plans, directly supervising the creation of operational plans that include business analysis, software and application development, and monitoring and assisting with their implementation to guarantee their effectiveness and quality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Putting into practice the department’s authorized policies and processes and adhering to the guidelines in order to accomplish the department’s goals.
- Following the center’s internal rules and guidelines.
- Ensuring that systems and apps run consistently and offering technical assistance when problems arise.
- Overseeing and creating the applications and websites for the center.
- Doing thorough testing and recurring evaluations to guarantee the caliber of applications.
- Overseeing the application and website execution of cybersecurity standards and procedures.
- Carrying out any additional relevant duties as needed to meet the demands of the job.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline. It helps to have a master’s degree.
- Expertise: At least seven to eleven years of expertise in application development, IT operations, or a similar sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining applications and websites.
- Familiarity with project management, business analysis, and application testing.
- Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of software development techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity guidelines and best practices for websites and apps.
- Knowledge of application and website management tools.
- It is advantageous to have knowledge of databases, frameworks, and programming languages.
- Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English, with a preference for Arabic.
