About the opportunity

Do you find driving one of our recognizable blue trucks to deliver goods to clients inspiring? Every day, as a Medium Rigid Truck Driver at our welcoming Yandina StarTrack plant on the Sunshine Coast, you will be the public face of our reputable company, at the center of your neighborhood, and bridging communities and companies with one another. It doesn’t get any better than being a mainstay of your community while traveling, even if you aren’t working from home!

This full-time, permanent position offers $31.26 per hour plus 12% super and overtime rates, along with permanent entitlements. Enjoy the beach lifestyle on the weekends and in the evenings when you work Monday through Friday.

You’ll be

• Performing your own daily car safety inspection
• Working with coworkers at the facility to handle, scan, and securely load your truck with up to 30 kg of freight for delivery
• Operating our trucks to deliver and pick up goods amongst our clients
• Making the trip back to Yandina to unload pickups

About you

You’re an outgoing, vivacious, and trustworthy individual who values independence as much as collaborating with others and working as a team. You have a strong desire to improve the community.

You’ll also need to

• Possess the appropriate MR driver’s license.
• Possess the physical capacity to load and unload freight goods of all forms, sizes, and weights—of up to 30 kg—frequently in and out of a truck.
• Pay close attention to safety and recognize the significance of the chain of responsibility.
• Possess a customer-focused attitude and strong communication abilities.
• You must weigh 130 kg or less, which is our safe working load limit.
• You must also be ready to complete a driving test and submit to a pre-employment criminal history and medical examination.
