In order to strengthen our trading tactics and support the expansion of our FX desk in the area, we are seeking an FX Trader to join our team in Singapore as we continue to increase our presence in the Fixed Income and FX markets. Trading in a variety of Asian currencies will be your responsibility in this position, and you will be implementing strategies based on market dynamics, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Create and oversee high-frequency foreign exchange trading plans.
• Keep an eye on trends in interest rates and the global macroeconomy, particularly as they affect the foreign exchange markets in Asia.
• Find trading possibilities in forwards, FX futures, and spot FX while controlling risk in various currency pairs.
• Work together with quantitative researchers to create and improve models for risk management, pricing, and arbitrage opportunity detection.
• Make sure that deals are executed efficiently by using proprietary algorithms and automated trading systems.
• Effectively manage and hedge risk while adhering to predetermined risk thresholds.
• To reduce trading expenses, keep an eye on market liquidity and improve execution tactics.
• Collaborate closely with the development and technology teams to enhance trade infrastructure and tools.
• Ensure adherence to trade regulations by keeping a thorough awareness of the regulatory requirements in different Asian marketplaces.
• Give senior management market analysis and input on the potential and difficulties facing the Asia FX market.

WHO YOU ARE

• a solid history of FX trading performance and profitability.
• thorough understanding of interest rates and FX markets
• Outstanding risk management abilities and expertise in controlling risk exposure in erratic markets.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative models for pricing and risk management, as well as familiarity with algorithmic trading systems.

• Excellent communication abilities, including the capacity to explain trading methods and market opinions to top management and coworkers.
