As part of our dynamic sales team in Oman, the Acceptance Expert will play a crucial role in expanding our merchant base and nurturing client relationships. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about fintech sales, merchant acquisition, and cross-border payment solutions.
Your Role as an Acceptance Expert
As a Tapster, your focus will be to develop strong pipelines, bring in new merchants, and provide expert guidance throughout the sales journey.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Identify high-potential merchants and prospects to grow a steady and sustainable sales pipeline.
- Promote and sell Tap’s cross-border payment solutions through a mix of cold calling, meetings, events, and networking.
- Consult with new merchants and offer guidance on Tap’s product capabilities.
- Develop customized presentations and proposals tailored to merchant needs.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process and act as the primary contact for merchants and partners.
- Maintain an organized merchant portfolio, and build long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to exchange insights, strategies, and business trends.
- Negotiate and close deals using strong communication and sales skills.
- Take on additional tasks based on evolving business needs.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To succeed as an Acceptance Expert at Tap Payments, you’ll need a combination of technical aptitude, sales experience, and relationship-building capabilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in fintech, banking, or payment services.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but equivalent experience is welcomed.
- Strong understanding of merchant onboarding, B2B sales, and payment ecosystems.
- Proven ability to establish trust and long-term relationships with stakeholders and merchants.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective communication in English, with Arabic language skills being an added advantage.
