Job Description: AZ Truck Driver

We are looking for dedicated AZ Drivers to join our fast-paced, supportive team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting live poultry across various regions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company trucks and trailers to deliver live poultry to farms and processing facilities.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
• Follow detailed biosecurity protocols before, during, and after deliveries.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and mileage records.
• Communicate with dispatch to report delays, incidents, or schedule changes.
• Handle cargo with care and in compliance with animal welfare regulations.
• Adhere to all provincial and federal transportation rules and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent work experience.
• A valid AZ Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, CVOR, and WHMIS Certificate.
• At least 7 months of driving experience preferred; however, we welcome candidates with less experience who show strong potential.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
• Physical ability to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer one of the most competitive pay structures in the industry. Drivers earn the greater of:

• $27/hour for 40 hours/week, or
• Piece work or mileage-based compensation.
